Eggbids are small alien creatures that come to a post apocalyptic earth in search of Chuck Berry. They later morph into the Skellybots who explore the remnants of humanity to send back to the homeworld for research and entertainment.

In Ask an Eggbid, the Skellybots and their malfunctioning companion, Keith, create their own docu-series about Eggbid culture, anatomy, and home planet.

MEET THE SKELLYBOTS

The Skellybots are a series of illustrations created by CEEMO that celebrate humanity from its most grandiose to it’s most simple characteristics, featuring synthetic life forms from outer space that fall in love with humanities quirks!

Skellybots Creation

The first skellybot was a drawing for an isometric perspective college assignment while she was working on her BFA. This drawing became “A Skellybot Wedding” and was later digitized. After that, the linocut print “Skellybots Upcycle” proved that the bots still had more to do!

MEET THE BEEZ

The Beez are the brain child of Magmo, and were originally drawn for a skellybot drawing where the bots discover a blocky bee hive. Blocky beez may or may not have allegedly had something to do with the apocalypse. The Beez remind you to “BEE” yourself, no matter what!

About the Artists

C “Payasa” Moses, or CEEMO, is a digital, mixed media, and performance artist who enjoys the freedom of digital drawing. Influenced by science fiction and fantasy as a child, as well as nicktoons and looney tunes, she found herself doodling almost constantly even through adulthood. In addition to tv and cartoons, books like The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy (and sequels), comics like farside, and cartoonists like Sandra Boynton, also helped shape the artists playful creativity. She currently works as a Performing Arts Director, Digital Artist, and Graphic Designer.

MAGMO is a digital artist and designer of the Blocky Beez. Magmo is quirky and goofy and loves to create. In her spare time she likes chatting with friends and making clay figurines. Magmo is influenced by video games and video game culture, fantasy and science fiction.
